BBL/RESULTS — CLIENT WORK

22 enquiries in three weeks. 12 of them weddings.

A new website for an Indian caterer that has served weddings and events across London and the South East for over twenty-five years. Every enquiry now arrives with the date, the guest numbers and the venue, ready to quote.

THE NUMBERS
22enquiries from 21 people, 18 October to 3 November 2026
12of those people asking about a wedding
16enquiries for events of 100 guests or more
150median guest count across the enquiries

Checked 6 November 2026 in the site’s Netlify Forms records. The new site went live on passagetoindia.co.uk on 17 October 2026. Two internal test submissions are excluded. One person enquired twice, so 22 enquiries came from 21 people. Guest numbers are as typed by each visitor.

THE PROBLEM

Bhav’s business has catered Indian weddings and events for over twenty-five years, but the old website had fallen behind: a 2018 gallery, placeholder pages and no tracking. Its enquiry form didn’t ask for the event date or the guest numbers, so every enquiry started with a round of questions before anyone could quote.

WHAT WE BUILT
  • A new website that shows the food, the venues and the events the way couples imagine them
  • Pages for the venues the team caters at, plus a venue finder to shortlist them
  • Real menus to read online and download
  • An enquiry page that asks for the occasion, date, guest numbers and venue, and saves every enquiry before anything else happens
  • Google Analytics with confirmed-enquiry events, and redirects so the old site’s links still work
WHAT HAPPENED

In the first three weeks on its own domain, the site took 22 enquiries from 21 people. Twelve were asking about a wedding, and 16 enquiries were for events of 100 guests or more. Each one arrives with the date, the guest numbers and the venue, so the team can reply with a quote instead of a list of questions.

THE HONEST BIT

These are enquiries, not booked events. We have no like-for-like count from the old site, because its form was never tracked, so we can’t say how much of this is new demand. Guest numbers are what visitors typed, before any conversation. Three weeks is a short window.

YOUR TURN

Book a call. Thirty minutes. We’ll ask how the work moves, where it stalls, and whether there’s a system worth building. If there isn’t, we’ll tell you before you spend anything.
