THE NUMBERS
1,500visits in month one
39enquiries in month one
~20new customers through the door
75%of traffic from Google, on a brand-new domain

Month one, measured in Google Analytics. First website the business ever had.

THE PROBLEM

Nick runs a specialist reptile and aquatics shop on Church Road. No website. His phone rang all day with people asking what he had in stock, and every enquiry lived in Facebook Messenger. Local people searching for what he sells couldn’t find him.

WHAT WE BUILT
  • His first ever website — built around the shop, not a template
  • A live stock list, so “what have you got in?” gets answered online
  • Local SEO for Ashford and the surrounding towns
  • Online reservations — check the site, reserve, walk in and collect
WHAT HAPPENED

Month one: 1,500 visits, 39 enquiries, roughly 20 new customers. Three quarters of the traffic came from Google — on a domain that hadn’t existed a month earlier, because almost none of his nearby competitors publish anything worth ranking.

THE HONEST BIT

These are month-one numbers on a brand-new site — the strongest month to report and the easiest to overclaim from. We keep measuring, and we’ll keep this page updated with what happens next, good or bad.
